Based in artistic practices and in the discourse of contemporary
public processes, the Office of Integrative Art (Berlin) was founded
in 2000. Since then Jörg Amonat and Stefan Krüskemper have developed proposals and realized projects in ever-changing teams. They work in the fields of public art, urban space, and integrative art strategies.

What is public space today and what, in particular, could art add to
this context? How does economic development change the urban area and the lives of its inhabitants?

In 2001 the Office received a one-year grant from the Bavarian
Department of Science and Culture for the project »parkTV« situated in the park in the city center of Dessau. In this project, the Office created a simulated park inside a shopping mall and made products one can buy to replicate a park atmosphere at home.
